We’re getting oh so close to a form of musical nirvana that will leave you blissed out for the foreseeable future I hope! I’m very excited to be bring you the masterful musical minds (and beyond!) of Asheville’s own Snake Oil Medicine Show after quite a few years’ absence. Yes, the band even performed at mine & Stephanie’s wedding! 😉 Expect quite a few sit-ins throughout their set, which will begin at 7:30 PM on Saturday, April 7 on the Tree Sound Shed Stage. Please enjoy the most recent video footage of SOMS performing at Pisgah Brewing Co. in Black Mountain, NC, celebrating the beginning of the Chinese New Year. We’re in for a treat before, during, and after their set I can tell you right now! Snake Oil Medicine Show will be performing at 7:30 PM on Saturday, April 7.

I am also quite excited to be featuring the skills of songwriter extraordinaire Mikhail Peterson, former front man for Copious Jones, with his new band called The GMOS. Featuring the fiddling wizardry of Fiddlin’ Faye, this band is poised to go places. They will be fresh off the release of their first full-length recording. Please visit their website to hear their first track from the album. They are performing on the MOMS Grateful Fred Stage at 6:30 PM, Saturday April 7.

That’s right y’all! Before you know it, the weekend of April 6-7 will be here, and you KNOW where you should be – HOOOOOOOOOOOOTENANNY!! I am grateful to still be able to bring quality live music to the community, and the Harvest Family Hoot is a celebration of that continuation. It’s been a long strange trip for the last 20 years, and I look forward to what the future brings on this level. (Blue Ridge) HarvestFest, the 19 editions of TDawg’s Back Porch Hootenanny that followed, the Annual Holiday Hootenanny, the free community events, and all the TDawg shows over the years in and around the Southeast have all had a strong common bond in the amazing talent that has always come together to produce memorable and transcending music experiences for just a few patrons or a few thousand and all points in between.

Mark your calendar for the weekend of April 6-7, 2018 for a celebration of 20 years of TDawg Presents (aka TDawg’s Productions, Eye Dawg Productions) bringing concerts to Atlanta and the Southeast at our home away from home, Cherokee Farms!

Make your plans now to join us for a celebration of music, friends, fellowship, and the life and memory of one of the most unique individuals of our time! Great music makes your life a lot happier, and I can assure you that you won’t be leaving this concert with anything but a big ol’ grin on your face! The 7th Annual Atlanta Holiday Hootenanny promises to be a positively emotional experience, remembering our good friend Col. Bruce Hampton in a way that only the Atlanta music community can pull it off. His final band that is featured on the Live At The Vista Room recording, The Madrid Express, will be anchoring down the final set, with a plethora of musicians to join in the madness. You don’t want to miss this very unique night!
about this year’s edition and at the same time remembering good friend Col. Bruce Hampton, who participated in not only every Holiday Hoot but also many other TDawg produced events. Be sure you’re a part of the celebration AND supporting a great cause in Atlanta Habitat by getting your tickets!
