Well folks, we’re just over a month into our inaugural daily live music series at the the Cocktails in the Garden, exclusively at the Atlanta Botanical Garden, and it’s a perfect accompaniment to the wondrous beauty of the two ongoing exhibits there. The picture here is of Caroline Aiken and her trio, who performed on May 29 under the Robinson Gazebo at Skyline Garden.

We are thrilled with the response from the patrons, staff and musicians, and I personally believe it adds a wonderful energy to each day, watching folks groove on by, stop for a few songs, or move on and come back for more! Great music makes your life a lot happier, and I can assure you that you won’t be leaving this concert with anything but a big ol’ grin on your face! The 7th Annual Atlanta Holiday Hootenanny promises to be a positively emotional experience, remembering our good friend Col. Bruce Hampton in a way that only the Atlanta music community can pull it off. His final band that is featured on the Live At The Vista Room recording, The Madrid Express, will be anchoring down the final set, with a plethora of musicians to join in the madness. You don’t want to miss this very unique night!
