Vassar & TDawgThe 8th Annual Atlanta Holiday Hootenanny is dedicated to the memory of the late great fiddler Vassar Clements, whose career spanned seven decades. Vassar performed alongside many musical luminaries, including Bill Monroe, Earl Scruggs, Linda Ronstadt, Jerry Garcia, Peter Rowan, David Grisman, Stephane Grappelli, Dicky Betts, John Hartford, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Col. Bruce Hampton and so many more. I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to work with him and get to know him on a personal level. On a side note, Vassar first performed with Col. Bruce at HarvestFest in 1999. The WOW factor was in full effect needless to say as Vassar simply tore it up on “Time is Free” that also featured Barry Richman on guitar.

Please plan to join us on Thursday, December 20 for our “annual holiday party” that never fails to provide a WOW factor by the end, and rest assured this one will be no different!
