TDawg Presents is excited to bring you the 15th edition of what is a great holiday tradition on the Atlanta music scene, the Holiday Hootenanny! Holiday Hootenanny 15 will take place on Sunday, December 20, 2026 at the Variety Playhouse in Little Five Points, its original home beginning in December 2011. The concert moved to Terminal West from 2013-17 before returning to the Variety Playhouse in 2018. For the 13th year, net proceeds from the concert and raffle will directly benefit Atlanta Habitat for Humanity. Since 2013, Atlanta Habitat has received over $90,000 from this beautifully organic event. The future is bright to substantially increase that amount! Atlanta Habitat transforms communities by acting as a catalyst for neighborhood revitalization through education, innovative development, partnerships and long-term relationships with families. Its vision is an Atlanta where all people have access to quality affordable housing in safe, vibrant neighborhoods with opportunities to thrive. As we get closer to THE weekend of The Harvest Family Hoot, I’ve been pondering what this event represents beyond a celebration of 20 years & going strong. We are gathering for what promises to be an absolutely amazing collaboration of musicians Friday night, all day Saturday and into the late night, yet I have come to the realization that this event is as much a segue way to another 20 years of reinvention and ways to bring music to the community, be it through the Frank Hamilton School or creating fresh community events that impact my immediate surroundings in the greater Atlanta area. I’m not sure what the future brings as far as camping events are concerned; I am certain that TDawg Presents will continue to provide a reason for folks with different ideals and beliefs – religious, political & otherwise – to enjoy the music together, as music is a strong common bond. It’s important to be reminded in such a polarizing world in which we live that there is more opportunity to unite than divide. I intend to do my part with the former rather than the latter.
Happy New Year everyone! I hope that whether you endured or enjoyed the holiday season, you are happy to be in a new year, and 2017 promises to bring some goodness to our collective soul when we most need it. THANK YOU to those of you who made it out to the inaugural Hamilton Hoopla for the Frank Hamilton School and the 6th Annual Atlanta Holiday Hootenanny for Atlanta Habitat! So many wonderful moments scattered through both performances with lasting memories to carry you into the new year!

Oakhurst Baptist Church! Sign up now for group lessons in Guitar 1 & 2, fiddle (with Mick Kinney), vocals, mandolin, ukulele, and vocals! The Second Half, where everyone joins in together for a jam led the teachers and occasionally a special guest (Casey Cook from The Dappled Grays joined in a couple of weeks ago!), is a wonderful way to close out the evening and really leaving you looking forward to next week!
