TDawg Presents Folk Soul Revival w/ special guest Hannah Zale, Sept 6, 2014

Please welcome Folk Soul Revival to Atlanta for the first time!  Hailing from the Appalachian region of Virgina/Tennessee, these fellas stay true to their roots, producing an authentic Americana sound based on strong songwriting, solid harmonies, and incredible instrumentation.  Their following, known as “The Congregation”, is definitely onto something good with FSR!  We are fortunate to have these guys performing in the intimate confines of the Red Light Cafe, as they probably will be moving to larger venues before long!

Good friends of Larry & Jenny Keel, I now know why the Keels are so high on these folks!

Opening the evening is rising singer/songwriter Hannah Zale from Athens, GA!  The young woman has a powerful voice, relatable songs, and a stage presence that makes every audience member an instant fan.  As a recent graduate of the UGA music program, with an emphasis on social media theory in addition to music business, this budding songwriter is poised for something big and learning the ropes as she goes along.  Folks who see her perform live say she has the “It” factor going for her.  Come see for yourself!  Hannah is currently in New Orleans recording her debut effort, and I can’t wait to hear the finished product.  One thing I can tell you is that she is going to BRING IT on Sept 6!  Also look out for her at the upcoming TDawg’s Back Porch Hootenanny on Sept 20 at Cherokee Farms with a full band!

The video below is a nice introduction to Folk Soul Revival – ENJOY!

Check out this Hannah Zale video, a very personal tribute to a friend.  She really has a beautiful voice!
